School education is the basic ingredient for the holistic development of a child – personality development or it may the development of social and life skills. Scoring grades or getting degrees from prestigious institutions or having a white-collar job with hefty salary packages doesn’t mean that a child is well educated. Education means a lot – it defines one’s charisma, ideology, principles and life skills.
There is no shortage of talent in any area of our country, what is lacking is identifying the talent and giving it a platform. In metro cities, big institutions are providing adequate education to children based on their socio-economic conditions. But there is not enough platform available for the “Talents” in Rural area. The city of Gadarwara gave birth to great international thinkers like Acharya Rajneesh and Acharya Mahesh Yogi. Whose high level thoughts are relevant all over the world and who could get a platform outside Gadarwara at that time. That is, the idea of creating a platform in Gadarwara for the all- round and versatile development of the talents of this region was born and to realize this dream, the foundation of CIS School was laid. In which along with the education of the children, the talent hidden within them is being identified and the talent is being developed and converted into skill.
CIS aim’s to prepare students and provide a platform to face VUCA world – “the new normal’. It is must that students should develop their critical thinking, creativity, communication and must have the skill to collaborate with others for their survival. In this context, CIS has its own niche in providing them with ‘character education’. Students are harnessed in such an environment where they learn trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness and care to be a fruitful citizen.
We also prepare students to face the technological revolution and introduce them to the latest advancement. It is the responsibility of both school and parents to prepare them to grab the abundance of opportunities that are lying before them and to overcome the threats that are caused by ever-changing technology. To engage them with these changes, we at CIS follow different pedagogical methods to develop the skillset and a mindset to do ‘anything’ in their future prospects. As Alvin Toffler says, “The illiterate of the 21 st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn”. Keeping this in mind we produce children who are the literates of the present century.
